Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using NkwaziScope("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE — NkwaziScope is a portfolio analytics and record-keeping tool. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of investment. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Past performance data shown is for informational purposes only and does not guarantee future results.

1. The Service

NkwaziScope provides portfolio tracking, performance analytics, and document parsing tools for retail investors in Zambia, specifically for LuSE-listed equities and Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) bonds. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Market prices, FX rates, coupon schedules, and other market data displayed on the platform are sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We make no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any data displayed on the Service.

Transaction data extracted from uploaded documents via AI parsing may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting all extracted data before confirming it to your portfolio.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for all investment decisions made based on information displayed on the Service.
You must ensure that data you enter or upload is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Zambian law.
You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Securities Act Disclaimer

NkwaziScope is not licensed as a securities dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner under the Securities Act (Cap 354) of Zambia or any other applicable legislation. Analytics, charts, and performance figures shown on the platform are mathematical calculations based on your own transaction data and publicly available market information. They should not be construed as investment advice or recommendations.

5. Third-Party Services

The document parsing feature uses Google's Gemini API. By using this feature you acknowledge that document contents will be transmitted to Google for processing, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service is also subject to Google's applicable terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NkwaziScope and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including but not limited to investment losses, data inaccuracies, or service interruptions.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
